TAKAMARACHI REPORT

this is from a movie containing obscure cats who can change size. if you are only into boy x girl you should try "whisper of the heart". this is not reality TV with strange problems or people...ehm you know what. OK the end is a little spooky- but won't you expect it. here to show off some music style i like! it is definitively not loud&noisy rock music. all i wanted them to admit is that their works are not compulsory for everyone. thanks, thanks. what to have an AMIGA console too? you can- for just $30. look here to figure out how. and you need a windows PC, and of course some amiga software. just ask around people like me... http://groups.msn.com/68k - there are two games already added. this was a floppy disk based homecomputer...not MSX! it continued even into the 1990s, but then disappeared. OK i do not say "do not like rock music". i just do not listen to it. why should i? OK you listen to my music maybe? yes? no? do you applaude? can you follow? Ok i just like it. i know not everybody likes it.

first of all these images are hudge (1200X1500) you will love the high quality (maybe).

but now the not so funny part. in western countries, people say yes, yes, and again, yes. in japan, they often remain quiet, for as if they don't, even close friends (and people at work) will drop them off from one day to another.

so here the additional information. i had to look twice to see who's yamapi and who is tegoshi yuya...

there is no poorly adjusted eguitar in these pictures. there is no headwear which was the fashion from last year. and, there is no one lying on a bed similar to someone who can't afford Roppongi anymore and now performs on the street to get some small change.

OK yamapi sometimes made pictures with these indianajones hats. what i really don't like is the japanese favour for business clothing (you know, they must wear ties). why? but it has a reason of complex historical nature.

as with so many things the japanese do, also here (the business suits) they want to honour some special incident, or situation. once you know it, the business suits are completely harmless.

recently i went to a meeting in a company with many people above my age. OKOK very serious. i have been wearing a black polo shirt (you know, these shirts from solid tweed with three buttons). i hope that's OK.

if i walk in like on these pictures, they would give an obscure look at me...and forget about the e-guitar and that roppongi look.

Roppongi is a district of Tokyo, maybe only second rank after GINZA, where people can get nearly everything in terms of designer clothing- even items which can be difficult to find in the countries where they come from. OK i know most people who go there for it are loving it. they must have some polo shirts suitable for business meetings...i hope so. even if i do not have an urge to go to Roppongi very often.

the soy sauce is newly available (for the first time). the title is borrowed from a budget computer game...

North Korea hands over plutonium documents: U.S.

By Sue Pleming 49 minutes ago

North Korea handed over more than 18,000 pages of nuclear weapons documents to a U.S. diplomat visiting Pyongyang on Thursday that will help verify its plutonium holdings, senior U.S. officials said.

The officials said the documents were another step toward the goal of getting a full declaration of North Korea's nuclear activities, which has been delayed since the end of last year.

The documents, between 18,000 and 19,000 pages, were handed over by the North Koreans to the State Department's Korea expert, Sung Kim, who is visiting Pyongyang, State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said.

"He will bring back with him a significant number of documents relating to North Korea's plutonium program and we will have an opportunity over the coming days and weeks to assess the significance of these documents," McCormack said.

Another senior U.S. official, who asked not to be named, said they provided detailed logs of how much plutonium was produced by North Korea.

"This documentation consisting of thousands of pages will be essential to verifying North Korea's plutonium holdings," said the senior official.

North Korea tested a nuclear bomb in 2006.

An accord under which North Korea agreed to abandon all its nuclear programs in exchange for economic and diplomatic benefits has been bogged down by Pyongyang's failure to produce a declaration of those programs by the end of last year.

McCormack said it was possible North Korea would soon provide the declaration to China, which chairs six-party talks on North Korea's nuclear program.

"We will see if these documents will play a role in that process, but again it is going to be a verification process that plays out over a period of time," he said.

"Our top three priorities are going to be verification, verification and verification," he added.

The United States is part of the six-party talks aimed at getting North Korea to give up all nuclear weapons and programs under a 2005 agreement. The agreement to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula was reached among the two Koreas, China, Japan, Russia and the United States.

STICKING POINTS

A sticking point has been Pyongyang's reluctance to discuss any transfer of nuclear technology to other countries, notably Syria, as well as its suspected pursuit of uranium enrichment.

Last month, the United States released photographs of what it said had been a Syrian nuclear reactor built with North Korean help. The site was destroyed in an Israeli air strike in September.

Kim was on his second visit to Pyongyang in two weeks, reflecting an accelerated U.S. effort to secure the declaration.

U.S. President George W. Bush said in late April he released intelligence about the alleged North Korea-Syria nuclear collusion to put pressure on Pyongyang to come clean on all its nuclear activities.

Pyongyang has yet to respond to White House charges that North Korea was helping Syria build the reactor that could produce arms-grade plutonium.

U.S. officials have also held talks in recent days with North Korea over distribution of promised U.S. food aid, but McCormack said those had been inconclusive.

"They went there to take a look at whether or not conditions had changed sufficiently so that we could in good conscience and good faith provide food aid and know that that was going to get to people who need it," said McCormack.

A previous arrangement was scrapped after the United States said it was unable to monitor the distribution of food aid.

Aid groups said soaring global food prices and donors' reluctance have helped push the reclusive state close to famine.

the truth is that i did not knew how to use soybean paste, until yesterday. do you think horseradish powder, or especially the paste made from it, has a strange taste? that it is impossible to eat it? or that maybe also soybean paste (miso) is strange stuff.

i figured out, that if they are mixed together, taste becomes really good. now it can be used as dip for potatoes, excellent taste. the box was in my fridge for months, and i did not know how to use it! also it is true, that after a few months, taste of soy sauce improves. if it is fresh from the shop, sometimes taste can be strange.

for western people, it can be a bit odd to understand japan.for instance, the term "tomodachi" does not directly mean "friend" as we know it, but literally "the people you are together with". but, also, they are not called "tomodachi" by default. from this you can see that any translation is only an approximation. the picture shown in this entry is special, because there are similar, more detailed pictures, already existent in japan. OK there are city districts, where you can find "commercial services".but in japan, you are given good advice, if you do not criticize lifestyle you do not like (for instance a physical way of interaction). no you should indeed only talk about the things you really like personally. without a direct reason, like a smooth object, trouble is less possible.

it is also good, to say, that you do not like something, directly. but you must take care, not to hurt people with direct communications.it is OK if you like snowfall in summer, or if you feel that way- as long as you say it. in japan, this is nothing special. i wrote this entry, because visitor count to my site is low, even after long time, and i want to make the site more interesting. normally, republication is also not allowed. it is even worse, since it is a flash object, i created using special software. as fas as i know we live in the dvd age, people using these technologies for their lifestyle. then i do not see a reason anymore to hesitate, also to use available technologies. however, direct explicit entertainment is not for everyone.

some people will consider the direct-ness, the loss of "the unknown aspects" as loss of emotion in general. if it is allowed, known, then it is less attractive.the best advice, if you see something explicit in japan, do not comment it, do not stop your way, just let it be, even if it is young people. you are not responsible for them, even if the situation is bad. maybe do not go into each city district! no if you take these steps, and do not mess up everyone, you can have a good life. if you meet an "explicit person", like the artist who created this painting (he is one of japan's famous), then clearly say what you want, and what you do not want.

if people in japan feel that you are uncertain, especially for instance on a dark road in the night, they will ask you questions maybe. if you are a local, and know what you are, know who you are, they maybe even will not look at you. life can be simple as that, once you know it. OK there is a category word for some of the works- but i do not see a reason, why i should discriminate the "harmless" works, such as this one. it could be anyone you see in the street, a movie star, or a workmate with double identity. in my case, i want to show everything i have on the internet. if it is impossible to publish, then i can not have it.

OK also i can not (and i do not want to) leave the social class i belong to. call it sympathy for BLACK&WHITE...

from a dictionary, encyclopedic is covering facts closed to modifications, such as history 50 years ago!

current politics, or the current political situation, is not subject of an encyclopedia.

right now, wikipedia pushes political color with strong bias, and is featuring gazette-style information tarnished as encyclopedic data.

    Students should use Wikipedia: founder

Fri Dec 7, 1:52 PM ET

Students should be allowed to use the online encyclopedia Wikipedia as it has become more accurate and trustworthy, its founder Jimmy Wales said in comments published by BBC Online Friday.

"You can ban kids from listening to rock 'n' roll music, but they're going to do it anyway," he was quoted as telling the Online Information conference in London this week.

"It's the same with information and it's a bad educator that bans their students from reading Wikipedia."

Wales's comments come amid continued questions over the accuracy of the site, where online users can write and update entries, compared with other, more authoritative paid-for sources like the Encyclopaedia Britannica.

He had previously said Wikipedia lacked the authority for academic work, because of often unsourced, biased or inaccurate information.

Students who copied information from the site deserved to be marked down, he told the BBC in 2005.

But new fact-checking procedures introduced since then, including real-time peer reviews, had made Wikipedia more trustworthy, he said.

"There is no substitute for peer critique," he told delegates.

As long as an article contained accurate citations, he saw "no problem" with students using it as a reference work, although he added that academics would "probably be better off doing their own research".

Blog Entryclipart usage rulesNov 18, '07 8:24 AM
    for everyone
according to some clipart websites, it is not allowed to create collages like this one.i will not discuss why not!it is...these cliparts are not from such a site. however, it is the attitude, a rule must be followed, even if it is wrong. a creativity is not allowed, except from the forms explained by a certified teacher!OK OK. after taking a visit to gryffindor saloon yesterday...i can say...that this is COLORED ASCII-ART. i have never seen this before so far!!! but...it is not too bad???OK OK OK the cat (NEKO) is not visible in the picture. but, at this site, i do not remember the address, there was a very nice cat! at this time, i have searched for NEKO, and found a few other "neko" things on the net! OK OK i do not have a cat fetish. but in japan, cats play an important role.there are various movies containing cats. two are "return of the cat", and "whisper of the heart".

this clipart was downloaded in the year 2004, in result of a web search. at this time, HTML and internet was relatively new for me! earlier this year, i have created this colored ASCII-ART. OK i know it is nothing special. but usually girls do such ASCII-ART.

also from januar to september 2007, i have maintained domain web site, and fan listing (script based). but it is all closed down now. i do not have the energy to maintain such a site right now. here one of the fan listing codes. i have not even deleted my entries at the fanlistings...but reasons why i have quit are:
    1. only girls over there. very few boys. 90 to 10, or even 95 to 5.
    2. very few members actually display fanlisting buttons at website.
    3. only a couple of people joined my superstition fan listing. it was much less than i expected.

this button is the "eggman" from SEGA- an evil baron, who collects emeralds, small fairy pets, and loads of other stuff. the role of SONIC is to resuce all these little critters.

    Blog Entryare i am an university person?Nov 16, '07 8:06 AM
    for everyone

the answer is no, actually i have failed badly in school and college.

first there was "empty education", particulary music without any instruments, and obscure mathematic formula stuff.

even nowadays, i do not really understand formula, i can not read them with routine. however, i have teached myself in programming.

but a bit about the college. there was typewriting course, and it was not too good. so for this reason, i have dropped the college. there was not it allowed to use edit keys (for instance).

OK OK- can you learn everything from a book, and become a "whiz" (a mysterious expert)? NO you can not. and also, someone needs to write the instruction books.

the best teaching is own exercise, and practical experience. also, for subjects such as programming, it will take five years and more, until you "can hold the quaffle". teachers, or books, can only give an introduction.

for instance, if you want to build your own computer, it is not possible to do it from a book. and if it would be, this means a static slave copy of something what is already invented, what is already there.

if you want to write "songs", for VGM, means, often without vocals, you will need keyboards, MIDI, and the like. but often you can not realize your soundtrack ideas, or the software is not available. so you decide to build your own system. how that?

first, you need to understand, a computer is not doing anything, it is an electronic system which can be programmed for a task. so you need to understand the task, and maybe decide to do it with existing WINDOWS software, or to hire programmers! but then, you can only play using existing feature set.

if you want to do something extraordinary, it might be required to build your own computer. and actually, there are not direct books for it. sure some techniques are explained in books. actually i have read only a few computer books in my life, and this has been helpful.

but if you do not not have an university degree, it does not mean you can not do it!!! if you can imagine the thing, if you can see it, paint it, then you can also build it! if you can not do it, at least build a small model.

however, not everyone can do these creative jobs. many people must work in service, or production jobs. i just think about my project (without certificates, or degrees).

    my new projects

what you see here are two prototypes.

on the left side, a 68000 board, including 1 MB memory. this CPU was used for APPLE MAC, AMIGA, SEGA MEGA DRIVE, and ATARI AT. also many arcade coin-up machines contained this CPU as a "heart", or "brain".

on the right side, a 8x8 LED matrix, here with a PIC module (small CPU's containing some kilobyte flash memory). however, the CPU board can be exchanged.

    Viruses intrigue Yellowstone researchers

Tue Nov 13, 8:32 PM ET

Researchers who study the wilderness of heat-loving bacteria that thrives in Yellowstone's hot springs are starting to pay more attention to the even smaller organisms that keep those bacteria populations in check: viruses.

A study by researchers at Montana State University and the Idaho National Laboratory concludes that certain viruses appear to migrate around Yellowstone on steam droplets.

"To me, the big question is what do these viruses do in these hot springs?" said Frank Roberto, a microbiologist at the Idaho National Laboratory who sequenced and analyzed the DNA of Yellowstone viruses.

The findings are expected to be published soon in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

Researchers have been eager to find industrial uses for Yellowstone's bacteria. Cleaning smokestacks at coal-fired power plants is one possible application.

But to do that sort of thing, scientists are discovering that the relationships between hot springs bacteria and the viruses that infect them could be very important.

Over two years, the researchers sampled viruses in three hot springs, one near Norris Geyser Basin, another near the Mud Volcano and a third between Midway Geyser Basin and Old Faithful.

The researchers theorized that viruses are wafted by steam and could survive trips of several miles before finding a new home. Once there, they would infect new microbial hosts and transfer genetic information that could affect the lives of the bacteria.

"It's really a mystery how these viruses could have evolved if they can't survive in hot pools by themselves," Roberto said. "To reproduce, these viruses need to leave their hosts. Then they're entering a really hostile environment."

The scientists did some experiments and discovered that viruses can indeed travel by steam, much like how influenza spreads when people sneeze.

But Roberto said the study may raise more questions than it answers. The viruses may be capable of infecting a wider range of microbes than is now known.

"We're in uncharted territory in terms of understanding how these viruses impact the ecosystem of these pools," Roberto said.
