greed island arrival- many applicants actually die while trying because the rules are extraordinary unfair. it is said one out of 100,000 people will actually make it.
here are some new tracks from remix.kwed.org (also the sanxion bgm is not new!)
the machine on the picture is a computer system i am building myself right now. i do not have extraordinary skills to write music myself...what you see on my websites are my favourites! however, such a computer could be used to create music tracks (in theory). i do not really want to do this...just thinking! i plan to connect a small 128x64 LCD for instance! OK the computer is not shown, 1. it is not ready built yet; 2. it is on my flickr!
recently i have searched all my mp3, and reloacted to one directory on hard drive! all the good tracks (my favourites) are now included here on multiply. also the AKIRA soundtrack i have recorded myself (it is 50Hz PAL, noticeable slower).
also i must say that i am not "giana sisters fan", however, by random, it occurs that this is a game produced in germany, together with similar games like TURRICAN...games which i know from hear-say, maybe played a few times, but not really a fan of them!
well, i like the BGM!!!
my real favourites are dungeon siege, ufo x-com (the first sequel), or utopia creation of a nation. the last two are old games from the early 90s, the first one a 3d action adventure from year 2001. i do not have this game anymore, one time played through it in 4 days non-stop. maybe played it too quickly anyway- it is maybe six years ago right now! on my current computer this game can not run- i only have simple graphics card...Oh yes, i know, there is dungeon siege II too- maybe i will play it one day. i do not know, really.
note there have been download error, hopefully all tracks can download now.
this is an unusual combination of tracks- with no relation to each other.
"ANOTHER WORLD" was a famous game on the AMIGA platform- also on youtube.
"NICE 1990" contains some of the spirit of that time (at least i believe this personally).
"Look at Us" is a music track from DPRK. OK personally i have grown up in a completely different system- but i like to take a look from the viewpoint, it would be an extraterrestrial planet. try to understand what is happening.
those of us who always wanted "another world" will be more than happy about TEKKON- and the new perspective it draws, allowing more similar productions. i think this cartoon movie shows a signature like, for instance, the ghibli collection. at first, i thought they are just repetitions, and they copy off a lot, but it turned out, that this is not true.
MSX was "scrapped" quickly- only a few years after it was introduced. also electronic music has never made it into mainstream- if you go to a shop for CDs nowadays, you will maybe not even find one such production. sometimes i think why most stuff is so ugly- but at least, it leaves a feelings that the situation could be better. if you are presented a perfect world, you get get jealous, and feel less worthy. i think it is difficult to understand what happened in the 1980s, such as the decline of companies like commodore (who made the C64).
not intentionally maybe, but in the present form, this commercial provides a sort of spooky message, atmosphere. maybe it would be an exclusive society...?
please note, there is no connection between the pieces presented here, also the teddyboy is not from MSX, but SEGA MASTER SYSTEM, and teddyboy relates to a clothing style of the 1950s (in britain). it has not much to do with teddy bears (or maybe even nothing, anyway there are such stuffed animals in the bonus world of this game). it was one of my favourite console games (i was a young boy, and this title was cheap, released on card). it is now nearly two decades later...and this is not FM, MSX (by the way). i just wondered for a while, why MSX was scrapped so energetic, and companies do as it would have never existed.
one, if you make relationship with japan, you can not ignore the neighbours, such as china, russia, korea, indonesia, malaysia. two, if you like "england", or "the U.K.", you will not understand the full picture if you do not know the neighbours. countries such as ireland, france, spain, belgium, sweden and iceland. three, what is "shonen ai"? i have done some coloring activity. the title is "rewind history", or in japanese, "history rewind".
also have a look here for the full picture. ここのフルサイズの絵
by the way, it is not my own work, but derived from the works of takenoko, japan. i do this to exercise face expression, and body proportions. the strange song names are songs from a native south america maya indio tribe. i do not understand one word. what i have also included is a radio recording from northern europe...theme is C64 music. it is worth listening because nice language...and i am not from OSAKA. it is just...they made a movie called "young thugs- NOSTALGIA". when you see it, you will know what nostalgia is. it is about teenage "incidents". maybe it is troublesome to see it (it is about boys). but it is so much reality most boys experience. sure better if they know forehand!
...the BEEP BEEP is from a MINI-DISC recorder. it is a passage from a north america country song (USA), it is so unique american. it is a special feelings, which can only be imitated with great difficulty, and it is also sort of NOSTALGIA. the "DUNE" is a science fiction movie from the year 1984. a dark movie. if you ever had dark dreams from lightless civilizations...it will recall them a bit. there is a title ECOLOVE, what ever this might be. it is from the early 1980s. but, DUNE is based on a true story. at least.....
by the way...if you think i am strange, then you should read RAVE MASTER from TOKYO POP. it is a manga cartoon book. we had this in europe too. if you do not want to download, you can use playlist (windows media player). it will connect to the songs.
this is music made for girls...best friends also suits boys maybe. i can listen to it. true i am not crazy about j-pop, but i think it is good to know the genre a bit...
